Archie is a happy-go-lucky
4 year old Shar-Pei who was found wandering the streets in a bad section of town. His charming personality and unforgettable
squished-up-cheek “smile” won the hearts of our PFA rescue staff immediately. Sadly, his eyes were painfully
irritated and infected due to a condition called entropion. Not uncommon in this breed, entropion means the
eyelids are turned inward, resulting in the stiff eyelashes and eyelid hair rubbing against and causing sores on the tender eye membranes. Unfortunately, this condition is not treatable with medications alone but must be corrected surgically. Please help us raise the $3000 needed for Archie’s medical costs and sight-saving surgery.
